Updates

Before & after

Ticksy is a daily planner for tasks, reminders, events and notes. We started from a solid but incomplete base —an app that worked, but did not convert— and turned it into a product with its own visual identity, a key new feature and a monetization model, ready to ship on Google Play and the App Store.

After
Ticksy — Daily planner

The starting point

The initial version covered the essentials —creating tasks, scheduling reminders and seeing the day at a glance— and was technically well built. But as a product it had three limits: a generic, unbranded interface, a narrow scope (tasks and reminders only) and no path to monetization.

The challenge

Turn a working MVP into a shippable, sustainable product without breaking what already worked: redesign the experience, extend it with a Notes module and add ad monetization without degrading the experience.

The solution

We rebuilt the visual layer end to end: onboarding, a dashboard with daily progress, brand gradients, glass cards, native splash and icon, and light/dark mode. We added a Notes module wired into the main navigation and AdMob monetization (banners and interstitials) placed at natural points in the flow.

The result

A redesigned, consistent experience across Android and iOS, a new feature that expands the use case, an active monetization model, and a complete release setup: signing, real identifiers, privacy policy and store readiness.
