Terms and Conditions for Dentyco
Last updated: August 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Dentyco (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Dentyco is operated by Blue Peak Software Solutions ("we", "us").
2. What Dentyco Is
Dentyco is a practice-management tool for dental offices and their patients. It supports scheduling and appointments, clinical records and the odontogram, treatment plans, recorded payments, and patient–professional messaging.
Dentyco does not provide healthcare services, does not issue diagnoses, and does not replace a professional's judgment. It is a record-keeping and organization aid: every clinical decision belongs solely to the treating professional.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
- You must provide truthful, current, and complete information.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
- We recommend enabling two-factor authentication, especially on professional accounts.
3.2 Eligibility and Minimum Age
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the App. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
- The declaration is explicit: the sign-up form requires you to tick a box stating it, and will not create the account while that box remains unticked. This applies equally to signing up with an email address and to signing up with Google or Apple.
- We record the date and time at which you made the declaration. That record is kept as evidence that the declaration was made, and cannot be altered or removed afterwards.
- You take responsibility for the truthfulness of that declaration.
- If we find that an account was created by someone under 18, we will suspend it and delete the associated data.
- Minor patients do not create accounts: their clinical information is recorded by the treating professional, who must hold the consent of the parent or legal guardian.
3.3 Professional Accounts
If you register as a professional, you additionally represent and warrant that:
- You are licensed to practice dentistry in your jurisdiction and that the license number you provide is real, yours, and currently valid.
- You comply with applicable regulations on clinical records, professional secrecy, and health data protection.
- You have obtained the consent of every patient whose information you record in the App, and you are the controller of that data toward that patient.
- You only access information for patients you actually treat.
We may suspend or terminate accounts where there is reasonable evidence of a false license, identity impersonation, or improper access to patient data.
3.4 Use Without an Account (Guest Mode)
You may browse a professional's public profile and message them through the chat without registering. Booking an appointment does require an account. When you write as a guest, the details you provide are shared with the professional you choose so they can handle your request. These Terms apply to you as well.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes or to infringe third-party rights.
- Impersonate another person or a healthcare professional.
- Access, attempt to access, or extract patient data that is not yours.
- Publish false information about services, prices, or credentials.
- Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or bulk messages through the chat.
- Interfere with the App's operation, circumvent its security controls, or reverse engineer it.
- Use the App for medical emergencies. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
4.1 Booking rules
So that every professional's schedule stays usable, appointments a patient books on their own are subject to these limits:
- One appointment per date. A patient may hold a single self-booked appointment for a given day. To book another one for that same date, the professional must cancel the existing one first. If the patient cancels their own appointment, the date is not released automatically.
- At most three unconfirmed appointments. A patient may not accumulate more than three bookings awaiting confirmation. The limit is a total: pending bookings are counted across all professionals, not per professional.
These limits do not apply to appointments the professional creates for their patients. If you need to reschedule or resolve a particular situation, message the professional through the in-app chat.
Using the App to flood schedules, generate bulk bookings, or disrupt normal operation of the service breaches these Terms and allows us to suspend or terminate the account. To detect and stop this kind of abuse we record technical information about the origin of each booking, as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. User-Generated Content and Conduct
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of the text, images, and messages you create. By posting them in the App, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content for the sole purpose of operating and providing the App.
5.2 Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content
The App includes messaging and public profiles. Objectionable content and abusive behavior are not tolerated, including harassment, threats, hate speech, sexually explicit content, content that degrades a patient's dignity, or the disclosure of third parties' clinical data without authorization.
To enforce this:
- Any user can report a message or a profile from within the App.
- Any user can block another user, which prevents further contact.
- We review reports and remove the infringing content and eject the responsible user within 24 hours of receiving the report.
- You can write to hello@bluepeaksoftwaresolutions.com to report abuse or request review of a measure.
5.3 Confidentiality of Clinical Information
Clinical information a professional records or shares through the App is covered by professional secrecy. Disclosing, publishing, or using it for purposes unrelated to the patient's care is prohibited.
6. Medical Disclaimer
- Dentyco is an administrative and record-keeping tool; it does not provide medical or dental advice.
- The information displayed (odontogram, treatment plans, notes) reflects only what the professional entered, and its accuracy is the responsibility of whoever recorded it.
- In-app messaging does not replace an in-person consultation or a professional diagnosis.
- Do not use the App in emergency situations.
7. Payments
Amounts recorded in the App correspond to dental services delivered in the physical world and are agreed and paid directly between the patient and the professional or clinic. The App only keeps a record of those payments: we do not process payments, do not act as an intermediary, and are not a party to that financial relationship nor responsible for claims, refunds, or amount discrepancies.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, its design, code, brand, and content are owned by Blue Peak Software Solutions and protected by applicable law. No rights are transferred to you other than a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App under these Terms.
9. Suspension and Termination
- You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see the Account Deletion Guide).
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if you put the security of patient data at risk, or if the law requires it.
- Provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) remain in effect after termination.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
- We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of clinical information entered by professionals, nor for the care decisions made.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for willful misconduct or for harm to life and health.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are offered on a neutral, international basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, they are governed by the laws in force at Blue Peak Software Solutions' place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable legal rights you may have.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. If changes are material, we will notify you in the App or by email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede any prior agreement.
