Privacy Policy for Dishora
Last Updated: July 11, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Dishora. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Dishora is an AI-powered cooking application that turns the ingredients you already have into recipes. It lets you generate recipes from a list of ingredients or from a photo, scan existing recipes, save favorites, and share recipes with the community. This policy describes our practices regarding the collection and use of information through the App.
Dishora is operated by Blue Peak Software Solutions ("we", "us", or "our").

Google Gemini (Generative AI)
- When you generate or scan a recipe, the text you enter and the photos you submit are sent to Google's Gemini generative AI service to produce the recipe.
- Dishora currently uses the Google AI Studio (free) tier of the Gemini API. Under that tier, Google may use the submitted content to provide and improve its services, including model training, in accordance with Google's terms and privacy policy. Do not submit content you consider confidential.
- We apply content-safety moderation to inputs and outputs so that non-culinary, unsafe, or objectionable content is blocked.

7. AI-Generated Content and Nutrition Disclaimer
- Recipes, cooking times, difficulty, and calorie figures are generated by AI and are estimates. They may be inaccurate or incomplete.
- Dishora does not provide medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. Always verify ingredients for allergens and food safety, and consult a qualified professional for dietary or health needs.
8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including where our service providers (Appwrite, Google) operate. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
